Title
Helea, wife of Alcana Politi: Crete, 1347
Subject
Helea notes that she is healthy in both mind and body, but it is clear from the body of the will that she is testating because she is pregnant. Expecting a healthy birth, she bequeaths her dowry money of 72 hyperpera to the unborn child, to be held by her husband until the child is of age. Should the child not live to majority, the money should be given to Helea's mother and sister, who are her executors.
