Title
Potha, wife of Lazarus: Crete, 1350
Subject
Potha testates when ill, and names her husband Lazarus as her sole executor. She notes that her dowry is worth 500 hyperpera, and her viriginity price ("pro divirginio meo) was 100 hyperpera. She leaves her mother 200 hyperpera of the dowry money, and instructs her mother to give 50 hyperpera of this to charity, i.e. "pro anima mea." The remaining 300 hyperpera and the 100 hyperpera for the virginity price are left to her husband.
